Virtual Team Assessment and Development Model - VITAL

New tools – developed in the VerMeet project are now available within Vital Web Tool!

Now we offer two new and interactive measurement tools for virtual teams. Both can be isolated to your team and a well-guided process leads to easy outputs and guidelines for development. Moreover, we present SPINDEL network tool developed by University of Turku and VIBu training package developed by Turku School of Economics.

The increasing focus on globally networked working groups and interactive technologies are the main drivers of virtual organizations as people work across the boundaries of time, space and organizations. Virtual work creates new job demands and challenges the traditional ways of working and leading.

Our research project aims at creating a modular management and development toolbox for virtual organizations, especially dispersed projects and teams. This web-based toolbox offers different methods and guidelines to support team creation, development and successful collaboration during the team’s life span.

The VITAL model consists of

1) General tools, that are available as freeware in the Internet
2) Tailored solutions, in-depth analysis, training and development services.
