Innovative Business and Collaboration in Virtual Environments

VinCo is a multidisciplinary research project studying how collaboration and communication in global distributed teams and in fully virtual environments can enhance business and innovation.

The different modes of communication and the possibilities to quickly set-up innovative value-adding collaboration in fully virtual settings make it possible to explore the interfaces between virtual and traditional environments.

The project is funded by Multidisciplinary Institute of Digital Engineering (MIDE) research program at TKK and is carried out in collaboration with the Stanford Center for Design Research and Virtual and Mobile Work Research Unit.
