VerMeet - Tools for Leading and Managing Networks in Distributed Environment

Objectives

In the VerMeet project we:

• ANALYZE the demands and success of virtual and mobile work operations and management methods in geographically distributed organizations.

• SHARE the best practices.

• CREATE new management, collaboration and development methods to improve virtual work.

• IMPLEMENT needed development interventions and follow-up the change in the partner organizations.

• SUPPORT organizations in creating sustainable management and development processes of virtual and mobile work.

Implementation

The VerMeet project is scheduled from January 1st, 2006 till December 31st, 2008. TEKES is the main sponsor of the project together with over 30 collaborating companies. The project operates as a multidisciplinary research team from three Finnish Universities.

Outcomes
